Council tax bills to reduce by £150 in Milton Keynes - but only for those already paying reduced rate

Bills are currently being sent out to thousands of households, and now some of these will be "reissued", say council officials.

A spokesman said: "We will be reducing council tax by £150 for those residents who already receive Council Tax Reduction and we are working hard to re-issue their bills as quickly as possible."

He added: "Milton Keynes Council relies on council tax to fund many important local services. However, if you are worried about making payments then please contact us so we can discuss arrangements to support you through this difficult period.”
