50p Valentine gift from Milton Keynes shop is guaranteed to melt hearts

From February 1, customers at Co-op stores in MK will be able to get their hands on a box of four strawberry rose cones.

They are filled with which strawberries and cream ice cream shaped like a rose petal and the cone itself is crafted to look the stem of a flower.

The product is the first of its kind in the UK and box of four cones costs £2.

Kev Morris, Central England Co-op store manager, said: “The cones look and taste amazing and so much work has gone into making them look as close to a red rose as possible.

“Although it is still a little cold outside, this is a perfect way gift for a loved one who likes flowers but also has a sweet tooth.”
