NHS staff have been the heroes of lockdown and are still working hard looking after us all. And midwives are no different. Regardless of what is happening with the Covid-19 pandemic, maternity wards, including those at Milton Keynes Hospital, are still welcoming new life into the world on a daily basis. The MK Citizen asked readers if any of them had welcomed a new born baby since the lockdown was introduced. And we had a swell of responses from new parents looking to share share photos, tell us about their babies and praise the wonderful staff at MK Hospital for their hard work.
