JAMBOREE WEEKEND

Gulliver’s Land, Sat & Sun

Gulliver’s Land is offering a cut-price jamboree this weekend to help uniformed youth groups to enjoy a great day out.

The special celebration weekend is aimed at Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows, Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade groups and other uniformed youth organisations, with a significantly discounted admission price for groups of 20 or more, plus one free leader place with every 12 children.

ELEPHANT APPRECIATION WEEKEND

Woburn Safari Park, Sat & Sun

Educational talks and demonstrations are included in the cost of admission at this event in aid of the International Elephant Foundation (IEF). And for a small donation, visitors can enjoy elephant-themed games and activities and the chance of a photograph with one of the elephants.

TREE TOTS

Howe Park Wood, Thursdays

Pre-school toddlers and their parents can join the Parks Trust education team from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, for a drop-in Nature Play session in the wood.

No need to book – just turn up, pay on the day and have some fun. Activities will vary according to the weather and the season.

MOO MUSIC

Shenley Brook End, Bletchley and Deanshanger

Moo Music is a new class for pre-school children full of singing, dancing, musical games and fun. It features four original characters – Maggie Moo, Ollie Oink, Henry Horse and Doris Duck – each with a repertoire of 25 original songs by children’s songwriter Craig McLeish.

BRADWELL WINDMILL

Open 1.30pm to 4.30pm Sunday

One of the city’s most distinctive landmarks will be open to the public on Sunday afternoon.

As well as seeing the results of a £160,000 MK Council-funded refurbishment, you may be able to see the mill in action. Bradwell Windmill is maintained and operated by volunteers.
