Jada DaCosta and her father Ruel took up the challenge after Jada's nanny Barbara sadly died of coronavirus.

They decided to run 10 kilometres every day for five days, starting in the day of Barbara's funeral - which they were unable to attend due to lockdown rules.

"She will be in our hearts and thoughts as we run," said Ruel, who runs Paramount Parkour Academy in Milton Keynes.

The pair, who live at Shenley Brook End, are now three days into their challenge and have already smashed the £2000 target on their fundraising page. They are uploading videos of themselves chatting side by side on each run.

The money will go to NHS Charities Together.
