Deliveries to your doorstep

Lazy Bones, Albany Road, take orders from customers for many fast food companies and uniformed staff deliver the food.

Ashley James, company director, started the business in March, he was inspired one afternoon when he fancied a take away but his favourite one did not deliver.

He said: “We take customers orders through the app, it has been going really well and we have to turn down about ten deliveries every night because of the amount that come through.

“We have two bases, one in Milton Keynes and one in Leighton Buzzard. We are still looking for drivers, we want to employ more people.

“We take orders from McDonald’s, Nandos, KFC, Harvester and many more, they can all be found on the app.”

The food is kept hot by an electrically heated bag and the time of delivery depends on the restaurant.

The delivery costs vary from £4 to £12, depending on the distance between the restaurant and the customer’s venue.

Opening hours for the business are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5pm till 10pm and Sunday 1pm till 10pm.

For the next four weeks they will be trialling a McDonald’s breakfast delivery service.
