Fine dining restaurant will deliver free meals to exhausted NHS workers in Milton Keynes

Two chef brothers who run their own fine dining restaurant are offering free meals to be dropped off to hungry NHS workers and elderly people in isolation.

Shane and Aaron Clarke, who run The Brothers' Supper and Twenty Out Of Ten at Central Milton Keynes, have also devised a delivery menu to "save Mother's Day" on Sunday,

The caring pair will be doing twice weekly drop offs to NHS workers and people aged over 65 on Mondays and Thursdays.

They are concerned that the NHS staff are working extra hours, sometimes without a break, and are too exhausted to cook when they get home.

And they're worried that elderly people may be unable to get all the food they need due to the current panic buying in supermarkets.

"We just want to try and bring a bit of normality in this time of mayhem and help those that are in need in this crisis," said Aaron.

He and Shane devised the takeaway Mother's Day menu for the same reason - to try to bring normality, in the form of a big roast dinner, to families.

The Mother's Day Roast , which can be picked up or delivered, offers beef, lamp, pork or sweet potato and spinach strudel served with roast potatoes and five different veg for £12 a head adults and £8 for children. Desserts are £4.

"We can still treat mothers like queens!" said Aaron, who is asking people to book by Friday via their website here
