Monday's reopening represents phase three of four in the government's road map to reopening the country.
The Maaya Indian Kitchen & Bar in the Hub is offering anyone who dines with them on Monday May 17, a free glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
Maaya is one of the restaurants in Milton Keynes that offered a takeaway option throughout lockdowns and is continuing it's takeout service. But in the words of a spokesperson it wanted to say: "a thank you from us for your continued support. It’s time to raise a glass and ‘cheers’ to brighter days ahead!"
The popular Indian restaurant has proved resourceful in the pandemic, it organised cook from home meal kits during the UK's most recent lockdown.
Bookings and opening times for the restaurant are available online here.
