And you can be sure all the meat has been prepared and bought from a Halal supplier – not only that but there is no pork used in any of the dishes and no alcohol is served or sold, something the owner believes is unique in the city.

Its sister restaurant Asia Wok Halal Oriental, already has a great reputation for fantastic food, friendly staff and super service. One recent comment on their Facebook site says it all: “We had another great meal last night, and the female staff member at the counter is always so happy and friendly. She's really helpful and a credit to your restaurant! Great food too!”

On the menu

So, what can you expect? The menu is so extensive the toughest decision will be choosing your favourites. You could be starting with spicy chilli chicken wings, tofu, king prawns or squid for example. Then there is a range of Oriental, Thai and Singapore style rice dishes. There’s Chow Meins, Singapore style vermicelli dishes and oodles of noodles!

Mixed meat or mixed seafood dishes should satisfy anyone’s appetite and there are Thai Curries available with a selection of meat, fish or vegetarian options.

Of course there are English dishes, like omelettes, and a selection of soft drinks available.
