The Reduced Shakespeare Company are back with a spring tour that sees them in the new city on Sunday, with the Complete History of Comedy (abridged).
Having already skewered history, the Bible and the Bard, the trio behind the RSC are back with more funnies, writes Sammy Jones.
This tour follows a fantastically successful stint at last years Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Ticket-holders will enjoy a brilliantly reduced history of the giggle-some. From ‘the high-brow to the low’ the show will cover funnies through the ages – all the way from Aristophanes and Shakespeare to Vaudeville and Charlie Chaplin.
‘From Cavemen telling ‘Rock Rock’ jokes to Chris Rock and everything inbetween,’ the company will deconstruct the entire history of comedy in just 90 minutes.
Unbeatable entertainment from the boys who are as bonkers as they are brilliant.
Tickets for Sunday’s date at Stantonbury Theatre are on sale at £17.50.
