HACKTIVIST have been making plenty of noise in and around the new city in recent times, and it’s small surprise they are attracting lots in interest from further afield too.
The fusionists reckon their way is ‘a new way for a new age,’ and are more than happy to divide opinion with their hardwiring, devastating grooves which have been put through the blender and whisked up with some insightful rhyme.
Hacktivist want to be heard, saying ‘convention must give way to invention’.
That’s what we like – a band with plenty of bite!
Hacktivist play The Craufurd Arms this Friday evening, with support from The Algorithm, No Consequence, Invocation and In Archives.
Admission is a fiver in advance, eight quid on the doors from 7.30pm.
> Hacktivist fella J-Hurley is still keeping his solo urban flavours rolling, and has a new album in the offing.
We’ll tell you more about that right here, next week...
> Anne-Marie Hurst, the former Ghost Dance lady will play Bedford Esquires on Saturday night...her first gig there for 24 years.
