Hula Animal Rescue will illustrate perfectly the success of rehoming centres at this weekend’s event – when it hosts a ‘staffie ‘happily rehomed’ parade’.
Staffie’s all too often get a bad rap in the media, but they can be loyal, loving companions too.
As Hula says, ‘Staffie’s are softer than you think,’ and this will be the event to prove it.
Sunday’s parade will take place at 2.30pm, followed at 3pm by an animal blessing at the St Francis Open Day.
As ever, monies raised will be ploughed straight back into the centre, based at Glebe Farm in Aspley Guise.
Visit between 1 and 4pm and support the centre.
Entry is £2 for adults, kids go free.
