The Milton Keynes Handmade & Vintage Extravaganza returns to Middleton Hall in thecentre:mk this weekend.
This is one of those events that really brightens the square with a wealth of stalls offering all manner of quirky, old and handmade goodies, including, but not limited to fabrics, furniture, vinyl, vintage hair and make-up styling, kitchenalia and china, quirky recycled gifts, a book stall offering first editions, signed and out of print books, embroidered textiles, luxury bespoke children’s soft toys and silversmiths.
We told you there was a lot to be had.
A little birdy has told us that one of the vintage traders showing out at this weekend’s bash is fresh back from a month-long forage around Europe and will be bringing a rather marvellous stash of European vintage treasures straight here!
Another exciting addition is the stall by The Textile Anarchist: “She creates highly unusual clothing and her unique, opulent coats handmade from vintage fabrics are a real treat and will be one of my first purchases,” organiser Jacqui Lewis divulged.
The event will run across Saturday and Sunday, with more than 120 stalls crammed with goods.
Admission is free.
