A Summer Fair being held at Bradwell Abbey on Sunday will raise funds for MK Breast Care Unit.

Jeanette Baldock has organised the event: “I, like hundreds of other women was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Spring 2012 and had a pretty rotten time of it...I wanted to give something back for all the care and attention I received,” she said.

More than 60 stalls have been organised, kids can enjoy the highs and lows of the Bouncy Castle and face painting.

They’ll also get the chance to meet Hello Kitty and Buzz Lightyear: They’ll have a fantastic time of it!

Sunday’s event will begin at 11am.

> The charity theme continues over the other side of town, with a Walk for Willen Hospice, and a new Family Festival.

The sponsored walks (choose from the one, three and six mile courses) costs £6 for adults, and £2 for under 16s, payable on the day.

All walks start and end at the Hospice and begin at 11.30am.

Pre and post walk, participants can enjoy refreshments and entertainment in the Hospice gardens, including music from the Bolivian Sunshine Dogs Band.

Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers will bring the force with them and you can try and beat the goalie with penalty shoot outs.
