Milton Keynes is one of the most energy efficient areas in the UK, study reveals

While we get to grips with staying at home during the lockdown, at least it's good to know Milton Keynes has some of the lowest energy bills in the country.

According to a study by Comparethemarket.com, the city is not only one of the most energy efficient places to live with a rating of 59.4 per cent - but boasts an estimated annual bill of £709.

The findings were based on their ratings over the past three years from EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates).

The least annual bill was Dartford with £625 and the most expensive was Richmondshire with a whopping £1,153.
