Value supermarket Lidl dominates most expensive locations in Milton Keynes

WeBuyAnyHome has uncovered correlations between house prices and the density of our favourite supermarkets during research into the country's spending habits.

The analysis of 392 locations across the UK reveals that homeowners living by Tesco and Sainsbury’s are most likely to live in areas with the highest house prices.

And that buying a property near one of these supermarket giants may be wise if you plan on making profit from a house sale.

So it would seem a higher home valuation doesn’t necessarily lead to a higher presence of premium stores, in fact the opposite is found.

Milton Keynes has one of the highest average house prices at £285,000, yet there are just 0.37 Waitrose stores per 100,000 people in the town - the second lowest in Buckinghamshire.

The data also indicates that Lidl dominates Milton Keynes with 5.58 per capita - the highest amount across Buckinghamshire.
