RSPBs North Bucks Group will be meeting at the Cruck Barn, Bradwell Abbey, this evening.

Barry Oxley, active supporter and volunteer of the RSPB, will be giving an inside view of our closest reserve of wet meadows and reedbeds, found not too far away, at Otmoor.

He will explain about the work that has been done to enhance habitats and some of the reserve’s forward-looking initiatives, which include a wildflower project.

Barry has travelled extensively in pursuit of his passion for birds, wildlife and the natural world.

He is committed to nature conservation, which will be easy to understand when you hear his presentation.

Doors open at 7.15pm ready for a prompt start time of 7.45pm.

Admission is £2.50 for group members, £3.50 for visitors and £1 for children.

Free refreshments will be served during the interval.

> Bird Ringing for the Curious is the title of a talk being hosted at the Cruck Barn, on Tuesday night.

The event is part of a season of events by the MK Natural History Society, and local bird ringer Kenny Cramer will be sharing his experiences.

Visitors are welcome, and the start time is 8pm.
