It’s Cock & Bull

The 13th Cock & Bull Real Beer Festival will be hosted at York House in Stony Stratford this Friday and Saturday.

Two dozen beers and ciders, attributed to local breweries and cideries will be ready for supping.

Those of us staying clear of the hard stuff don’t need to stay clear of the event though – Fairtrade wines, juices and snacks will also be available, and on Saturday, the 4String Ukulele Band will bring music bar side as you drink.

The event runs from Noon to 11pm both days and entry is free. Cheers.

>The Woburn Festival returns this weekend with plenty of reasons to hop in the motor and pop across to the most picturesque of villages.

This year the onus will be on food once more, and the liquid stuff to wash it down with – wine, beer and Pimms will be served while the sun shines.*

A craft fair and flea market will be popular with visitors and the traditional tug of war contest will erm ‘pull’ in plenty of viewers.

Live music will soundtrack the festival and kids won’t get bored with a winning fun fair to keep them entertained.

Mans best friend will be showing how smart he is at the dog show, and if art floats your boat, you’ll be pleased to hear there is a great exhibition available to view.

It’s a great bash with something for all, so go get stuck into the fun – Woburn will welcome you between 10am and 6pm on Saturday, 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
