Last chance ‘toe’ see
It is the first solo show in a UK public gallery by the New York -born artist, and you’ll not see it anywhere else.
In all theire are 22 oil paintings being hosted, which span 15 years , ‘...so you can follow her artistic evolution from room to room,’ one gallery expert told me.

Hide Ad“She paints in a hyper realistic style, drawing on traditions from the early Renaissance to more recent painters such as Lucian Freud.
“Painting directly from nature, in natural light, and life-size, Altfest demonstrates a rare technical ability derived from intense concentration and minute observation.’ Her detailed work often takes months of painstaking endurance. See the results at the Theatre District art hub through to Sunday.

As we mentioned a couple of weeks back, the collection of works are all pieces produced by four secondary schools – MK Academy, The Hazeley Academy, Oakgrove and Lord Grey Schools.

Frontline is part of the Great War MK season of events, to mark the centenary of WWI.
