Hot on the heels of a terrifically received concert at MK Theatre last month, MK City orchestra return this Tuesday evening with Lifted Spirit, an evening of works by Dvorak, Faure, Tchaikovsky and Schubert.
The splendid deliveries will be in the company of soloist Bozidar Vukotic, the Orchestra’s Principal Cellist, a sublime talent deserving of your attention.
Stacey Watton will be operational as the event conductor.
“I am delighted to be your guest conductor for this concert opening with Dvorak’s string serenade,” he said.
“You will be reminded of summer haze and the dream of gliding free as a bird over beautiful pastoral scenes and of course the better weather to come!
“Next, Faure’s Pavane will charm and seduce you into the most sublimely relaxing six minutes you will ever encounter.
“I am very excited to be accompanying my dear old college friend and our incredibly talented Principal cellist Bozidar Vukotic in this concert.”
The show, happening at The Venue, Walton High, begins at 7.30pm.
