Think you’ve had all the Halloween spookies you can take for one year?
Think again. The big event might officially be behind us, but the scary stuff contiunes over at The Craufurd Arms on Saturday night, and after last year’s winning show at the venue, promoters have once again booked Knotslip.
Europe’s No1 Slipknot tribute, the boys will be boiler-suited and ready to blow from 9pm, and it’ll be a decidedly more pleasant atmosphere than the one encountered by City Nights at this year’s rain-afflicted Download Festival.
Mind you, we did see the real thing.
But Knotslip really are the next best thing – and the masked monsters, aside from being pretty deft musicians, certainly cut the moves too.
Tickets for the show are seven quid a hit and support is coming from Lamb of Dog...yep, that’s a Lamb of God tribute.
The gig is suitable for all aged 14+ and doors open at 7pm.
> While Knotslip bust a collective gut in the back gig space, barside, another tribute mob will be holding court with their tribute to Dave Grohl’s collective.
In the ever-increasing tide of shocking tribute names (Oasish, Nearly Dan, Stairway to Zeppelin, Bootleg Beatles and the like), this lot have called themselves Ford Fighters.
