Mask up and swell charity coffers

Make like it is Mardi Gras and don your disguise for The Masked Open Mic party at The Snobar on Sunday from 8pm.

For one night only, musos, singers and comedians are invited to enjoy the surreal experience of performing in the atmospheric surroundings of The Snobar.

The real snow slope backdrop will add to the drama as the exciting night gets underway, with all procceds going to city support group, MK Kids With Cancer.

Set up to help families whose children have been diagnosed with – or are still receiving treatment for – cancer, this group holds regular support sessions and arranges special trips for families.

A successful evening will mean that this facility for friendship will continue and for only £2 per person in advance (£3 per person on the night) plus a free drink for every performer and a free snack buffet for everyone, the event is an easy and entertaining way to help out.

There is no theme: just pop on a mask of your own choosing and make tracks.

Amazing prizes have been donated so far for the evening’s raffle, ranging from tickets to race meetings at Silverstone to spa relaxation days at Whittlebury Hall and restaurant vouchers.
