MK COLLEGE students will be hoping that ‘luck will be a lady’ when they take to the stage tomorrow.
The performing arts students are set to appear in a completely student led production of American classic Guys and Dolls at the Woughton Theatre.
The show, which promises to be an electric mix of singing, acting and dance, has been directed, choreographed, designed and funded by the students to showcase the skills they have developed through studying Performing Arts at the college.
A musical that explores comedy, romance and mischief there is something for everyone to enjoy, with a glamorous but flashy sense of style, sneaky gamblers and glittering showgirls, this Guys and Dolls production is the one to watch.
Performing Arts at Milton Keynes College is going through an exciting time of expansion and growth with new courses available in all areas of music, dance, performance and production from this September.
Successful students have been offered places at highly prestigious drama schools after their time at the college including Central School of Speech and Drama and the Urdang Academy.
Guys and Dolls follows the hugely successful production of The Wiz earlier this year and is one of four full-scale public productions put on by the College’s students this year at venues across the city.
