Milton Keynes Sinfonia in concert

The Church of Christ the Cornerstone will host a concert of English music on Saturday March 16, when the Milton Keynes Sinfonia returns to the venue.

The programme will begin with Edward Elgar’s music In the South. Written after he visited Italy, the piece was first performed in London to great acclaim.

The English theme continues with Walton’s Viola Concerto and its dramatic tunes and intricate rhythms, before London Symphony by Vaughn Williams rounds off an evening of perfect playability.

David Knight will be your conductor and tickets are on sale now at £12 and £10 with under 16s admitted for £3.

Show time is 7.45pm. Call to book on MK 377518.
