Needles are out for the third annual MK Tattoo Convention

You’ll be right needled if you miss out on this weekend’s third annual Milton Keynes Tattoo Convention!
More than 4000 people are expected to descend on Kents Hill Park Training & Conference Centre on Saturday and Sunday, to get inked by some of the best artists in their field.

More than 100 will be showcasing their work, and some are making quite the journey to be with us – coming all the way from the USA.

Closer to home, new city tattooist Skingraff – located in New Bradwell – will be among those displaying their winning style – that’s one of their designs, gnashers out, above.

Aside from jazzing yourselves up skin side, the convention is being viewed as a family day out, and comes complete with comedians, a snake lady, reptiles, fire-eaters, a Burlesque troupe, live bands, break dancers and loads more besides.
But those tattoos are central to everything happening around them of course.

“The old perceptions of tattooing are long gone and this kind of event really allows those passionate about tattooing and art to express themselves and showcase their work to a wider audience,” organiser Samantha Neptune said.

Tickets start at £12, doors open at midday on Saturday, 11.30am on Sunday.
