The call has gone out for local artists and makers who are interested in showcasing their work at this year’s Bucks Open Studios event.
The two week extravaganza will begin on June 6th, shining the light on creatives across the artistic scale, and from passionate hobbyists to those with international reputations.
Last year, more than 500 people took part – including painters and ceramicists, basket weavers, book makers and metal workers.
“We are looking for creative people who would like to open up their studio or workshop to the public or to join an existing group to help showcase the fantastic work in the county,” explained Bob and Ann Marshall, chairs of Bucks Open Studios.
“It doesn’t matter if you are an amateur and you have just started your own creative journey, or if you’ve been creating art all your life, we would love to hear from you.
“Joining Bucks Open Studios is a great way to show your skills and work to the public as well as networking with 600 like-minded creative people in the area,” they added.
Visit www.bucksopenstudios.org.uk for information on how you can sign up.
But don’t leave it too long -– the deadline for entries is January 31, 2015.
