Wednesday (26 Feb)

Around 3am on Wednesday morning, there will be some light snow, but other than that it will be cloudy until 3pm, when there will be a 40 per cent chance of sunny showers.

That should clear up after about an hour and then settle into a cloudy night.

Thursday also offers cold enough conditions to create snow, with highs of 6C and lows of 1C.

Friday (28 Feb)

According to the Met Office, Friday will be a pretty consistent day of rain.

The showers will begin at 9am and continue all day long, well into the early hours of Saturday, when the light rain will become much heavier.

Friday will at least offer slightly warmer conditions, with highs of 9C and lows of 6C.

Saturday (29 Feb)

The heavy rain from 3am on Saturday will last until about 9am, when it will change from heavy showers to light showers with a bit of sun. This describes most of Saturday, with the rain clearing up at around 6pm.

After that, it will be a mostly cloudy night which will roll over into Sunday.

Saturday will bring high temperatures of 8C and lows of 2C.
