Reasonably fabulous!

In 2015 he was officially labelled a '˜Face to Watch,' but as the first quarter of 2016 draws to a close Dane Baptiste is still one to check in with '“ which is great news for you lucky people; he's at The Stables this evening.

He’s covered a whole lot of ground in the past year or so too, has this stand-up.

There were the nominations for Best Newcomer in the Foster’s Comedy Awards at the Fringe Fest, and at the Chortle Awards, then two sell-out runs at The Soho Theatre, and a sitcom pilot, which Dane wrote and starred in.

And now he pays us a visit with his new show all about uncertainty, called Reasonable Doubts.

And Dane questions everything, so there is lots to keep him at the microphone.

Strong language and adult material offend you, does it?

Stay in with Emmerdale, then.

The rest of you, go be entertained.

Over on Stage 2 BBC Folk award-winners Greg Russell & Cieran Algar will be in situ, no doubt taking the opportunity to tease material from their third album, The Silent Majority, at this show.

The Jive Aces were the first-ever band to reach the semi-finals on some show called Britain’s Got Talent, and have entertained the lady of Buck House as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

And on Friday night they will bring their jive and swing thing to the Wavendon venue.

They might wear yellow suits, but there ain’t nothing mellow about this sextet, as you’ll hear for yourself when they are joined by singer and actress Rebecca Grant for the evening.

Over on Stage, 2 Hunter & The Bear will cut loose their love of Lynyrd Skynryd and The Band with their own powerful blend of folk, rock and country for you.

Saturday night’s set by Marc Bolan tributees T.Rextasy is all sold-out, so rather than annoy you with what you can’t book in for, we’ll move on and instead tempt you with news of Tuesday’s visit by Tromboranga.

They are the absolute essence of Salsa Dura, with influences from the 1960s and 70’s measured against a raw, vibrant sound.

They will make you want to move your feet and take to the dance floor, so organisers have responded by setting up a specially constructed dance floor for the evening.

You’ve no excuse not to cut loose to the beats!
