An evening in her company will apparently leave you ‘feeling like you’ve stumbled upon a completely new, unique, quintessentially English talent who transcends lazy comparisons,’ with her piano-based songs.

Show time is 8.45pm, tickets are £10.

Stray are stepping up on Friday.

Dfrontman Del Bromham has a new album, Nine Yards in the racks too, and this show will be a blend of material lifted from that disc, along with Stray classics.

Meantime, on Stage 2, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Carl Donnelly will bring the funnies during a gimmick free mic stand.

Onto Saturday and Full House bring fun for the kids with Big Red Oath, and plenty of splish, splosh and splashing in the show, awash with puppetry, music and storytelling.

Jordan Reyne is also at the venue on Saturday, with her mix of ‘Grimm’s fairytale-esque folk tales, acoustic loops and the sounds of steam, sea and iron.’

The most poignant show of the week happens on Sunday – A Tribute to Terry Lightfoot, the Olney-based, nationally regarded jazz ace who passed away earlier this year.

The band leader and Clarinettist was as important on the trad jazz scene as Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk, and his passing was a tragic loss for the scene that he helped found.

Terry’s musical legacy lives on through his family – daughter Melinda is an established singer and will pay tribute at the show, alongside Roy Williams and Julian Stringle.

Melinda’s children Joe and Ollie are both musicians who will be showing out at the venue in memory of their Grandfather.

Unsurprisingly, tickets are selling well for this show, so be quick to move for yours.

Proceeds will go to Milton Keynes General Hospital.

Tickets are £18, show time is 7.30pm.

On Tuesday, the Marco Marconi Trio take over.
