It’s quite a line-up at the Bedford Park Concerts this year. Fans of British urban music are in for a treat on Friday, when Dizzee Rascal headlines a bill including Kurupt FM, Wiley, Jaguar Skills and Ms Dynamite. The annual Proms night is on Saturday, with harmony trio Blake leading the singing, while Sunday night is headlined by Sir Tom Jones.

Woburn Abbey and Gardens, throughout the summer

Celebrate a summer of sport at Woburn. Staff have delved into their collections and archives to create a series of displays illustrating Woburn’s close association with many different sports over the centuries. Children will be able to follow the ‘Summer of Sport’ trail around the Abbey, collecting answers to clues that make a password for a special prize at the end. Mk Young Filmmaker Of The Year Competition, MK Gallery

Any youngsters who, after watching a film, have thought ‘I could do that’ can now have a go, thanks to MK Gallery. It’s launched a competition for those aged four to 19, who are invited to produce and submit a short film. The gallery is also holding Filmmaking Masterclasses tomorrow for youngsters aged 16 and over.
