From canine companions to feline and feathered friends, reptiles and rodents – all creatures great and small are invited to a special service of thanksgiving for animals.

Animal-lovers in Milton Keynes can give special thanks for all the pleasure they get fom their pets and assistance animals at the event at the Tree Cathedral next Sunday, September 29.

At 4pm, Reverend Mindy Bell will lead the animal blessing service, giving pet owners the unique opportunity to celebrate their animals’ contribution to their daily life and well-being.

The service is expected to last 30 to 45 minutes and will be go ahead whatever the weather -so be prepared for rain or shine.

The Parks Trust reminds all visitors to be responsible pet owners and keep their pets under close control so that the service and the Cathedral can be enjoyed by all.

Parking for the Tree Cathedral is on Livingstone Drive, Off the V10 Brickhill Street.

This is a pay and display car park (prices are 80p for up to an hour, £1.20 for up to two hours).
