The little venue with the big promise turns two!

The Tickford Arcade establishment won’t wait until the weekend for the big bash either – it is firing up the BBQ, slicing through the birthday cake, passing round the vodka jellies and ice cream and – we’ve been told – games of musical chairs and pass the parcel will be waiting for visitors on Tuesday, too.

Of course, you couldn’t have a party at The Watershed and not have live music figure heavily.

Among those artists celebrating, you’ll hear TwoManTing, Crab Boy & The Shamen, Henry King, Muddy Summers & The Dirty Field Whores, Kersten Luts, Puddock Stew, tHIS tWISTED yOUTH and Stanzilla.

Things will start rolling at 4pm and entry is free.

Thanks to the management pouring their all into the venue, The Watershed has established itself as a winning platform to showcase sound-makers from across the board: Newbies, stalwarts, quirky and the stripped back, and they have come from all over the world to our little corner of Buckinghamshire.

More than 500 artists have stage-stepped over the past couple of years.

That’s just brilliant.

Former Bluetones singer Mark Morriss plays tonight from 7.30pm.
