Full fibre broadband on a fast and reliable service available to tens of thousands of homes in Milton Keynes

The UK’s only Which? recommended broadband provider is delivering reliable, full fibre broadband speeds over the CityFibre network that will future proof internet connectivity in the home.
How does Zen work for you?
In partnership with infrastructure provider CityFibre, Zen Internet is connecting homes across the UK to a more reliable broadband technology thanks to the rollout of full fibre broadband.
Buffering and slow internet connections will soon be a thing of the past with full fibre broadband, providing speeds and reliability not previously experienced in the UK.

For the fourth consecutive year Zen has been named the only Which? recommended provider for broadband. The company was given five stars for customer service, technical support, communication, and value for money in the consumer champion’s annual survey of broadband providers. And, 85 per cent of Zen’s customers rated them highly for value for money – the company was also one of only two providers to score maximum five stars in this category.
Richard Tang, CEO, Zen Internet, said: “Research shows price, reliability, and speed are top factors when choosing a broadband provider and Zen has again scored top marks across these categories. We also have a huge ethical focus putting people and the planet ahead of financial return for shareholders.”

No more mid-contract price rises linked to inflation
Zen’s high approval ratings are in part due to its contract price promise that guarantees no mid-contract price rises on residential broadband packages.
Inflation-linked mid-contract price rises are still the norm for most broadband companies but research from Zen found 49% of users thought this was not fair, with 75% supporting a ban, which has been proposed by telecoms regulator Ofcom. A formal decision on the proposal is due imminently.
Customers with the big four providers were penalised with contract price rises up to 8.8% this Spring.
The Zen research found 39% would not consider any mid-contract price rise fair but they were held back from switching because of concerns about the process – 27% worried about the hassle, 19% about the cost and 18% feared internet disruption.
The survey also revealed 34% would like to switch but didn’t know where to go. And 51% said they would do so if the process was easier and more hassle free.
Full fibre broadband from Zen over the CityFibre network can now be accessed by circa 90,000 homes across Milton Keynes, benefitting from a faster and more reliable service.

Price promise with a Zen contract
Which? research found this year’s increases from major providers, could see affected customers paying around the equivalent of a 13th month extra. But Zen’s contract price promise bucks this trend.
Charlie Kitchin, CityFibre’s Partnership Manager for Milton Keynes, said: “We are really excited to be bringing this reliable and lightning- fast broadband service to thousands of homes in Milton Keynes. All of us as consumers of technology are increasingly reliant on reliable connectivity, and full fibre broadband over the CityFibre network is delivering just that.”
