Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after two men damaged a number of vehicles along Clarence Road, Stony Stratford on Friday.

At around 2.30am, two men who were each walking a dog damaged numerous vehicles by smashing their wing mirrors.

The two offenders are described as white, aged between 18 and 24-years old, of medium build and between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall. The dogs they were walking were possibly Staffordshire Bull Terrier types.

A local resident chased the two men who ran up an alley way leading onto Frankston Avenue. The man giving chase lost sight of the men temporarily. A passer-by pointed out to him which direction they ran off in. The passer-by had a nose piercing.

The man then regained sight of the two offenders on Frankston Avenue and witnessed further damage being caused to a car. To date, no report has been made to the police regarding any damage to vehicles on this road.

The vehicles confirmed damaged include a grey Honda Civic, a silver BMW 320, a red Vauxhall Astra, a blue Ford Focus C-Max, a white Vauxhall Combo, a grey Honda Civic Sport, a blue Ford Fiesta, a silver Mazda 2 Tamura, a silver Renault Megane, a white Ford Transit 350 LWB, a pink Citroen Picasso and a red Renault Kangoo van.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information about this incident or saw men matching the description of the offenders acting suspiciously in the area.

Officers would particularly like to speak to the witness with the pierced nose as he may have valuable information and would encourage any further victims or witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact PC Martin Camp via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
