28-year-old assaulted as his phone was stolen in Miton Keynes


A man was threatened with a knife, assaulted and robbed as he cycled near to Milton Keynes Hospital on Saturday.

The 28-year-old was on his bike on the Redway, parallel to the V7 Saxon Street between 9pm and 10.20pm when a man has stepped out in front of him and stopped him.

The victim stopped and, as he did so, a second man stepped out of the bushes threatening him with a knife and demanding his phone.

The man handed over his HTC Desire phone, but the second offender then punched him in the face and ran off with the first offender and joined a third man in the direction of Eaglestone.

The first offender is described as being a white man in his late teens to early twenties, 5ft 8ins, with a medium build.

He wore dark clothing and cotton jogging bottoms with a jacket zipped half way up, a scarf and a black beanie hat with a grey stripe.

The second offender was a white man, taller and bigger built than the first offender, he wore dark clothing and had the lower half of his face covered by dark material.
