A fun-gi way to spend your day

THE Parks Trust hosts another in its series of Nutty About Nature, informative sessions this Saturday.

This time around, the short course for adults offers an introduction to fungi identification.

There are two chances to take part – between 10am and midday, or 1 and 3pm and by the time the curtain falls on the event you will have a greater respect for the amazing world of fungi...and you will be able to tell some of the more common species apart.

The course costs a mere £5 per person.

Book by calling MK 233600.

>ON Sunday, The Parks Trust presents a guided history walk through Shenley.

This is your chance to take in a little fresh air and a whole lot of historical knowledge from a blue badge guide.

Pre-booking is essential for this event too, but the fee won’t break the bank: It’s only a quid.

Leave the motor in the car park next to playing fields at Aldwycks Close and go learn something new.
