A tasty treat awaited shoppers at weekend, when the Milton Keynes Food Festival returned to Middleton Hal.

The free three-day event featured a mix of live cooking demonstrations, coffee-tasting sessions, and a Children’s Cookery School and Kids’ Food Laboratory which taught fun and easy-to-follow recipes for rainbow biscuits, scones, edible slime and fizzy cocktails.

Special guests included Clover Hutson, who has worked with clients such as BBC Look North, The Royal Bank of Scotland and on top government campaigns like ‘The change 4 life’, and award-winning artisan chocolatier Fiona Sciolti.

Plus there was a local produce market, with a variety of treats, goodies and gifts including cheese, meat, chocolate, fudge and cakes, homemade pies and alcohol.
