Adverse weather causes delays to rubbish collections in Milton Keynes

Due to delays at the landfill dropping off point, crews worked on Saturday and Sunday to catch up on the missed collections.

The last remaining few areas will be covered today (Monday) putting the schedule back on track:

The areas being collected today are Osborne Street, Bedford Street and Walker Street in Wolverton, Holly Close and Armstrong in Crownhill, and Mill Lane, Prospect Road, Willow Way, Horse Fair Green and High Street in Stony Stratford.

Despite more rain today, Milton Keynes Council says further delays at the landfill are not anticipated and the collection schedule will continue as normal this week.
