An exhibition of textiles is currently being hosted at the events space in Milton Keynes Library.
It features the work of five artists who have been inspired by five continents and the variety of stitching that can be found around the world.
Works on display and for sale include mirrors, cushions, goldwork, clothing and dolls.
The exhibition continues to November 24, and admission is free.
This Saturday organisers are inviting fellow stitchers to show up at the library and participate in a great big Sew-In.
“We would love to see stitching from around the world so we can add new countries to our map quilt,” said organiser Cheryl Montgomery.
The event is open to all and runs between 2pm and 5pm.
