Thanks to the hard work and effort of students, staff, parents and governors and following record IB results and A level results we are delighted to report another great set of GCSE results.
In a similar way to the league topping results last year, over 70 per cent of students ending Y11 at Hazeley do so with top A*-C grades in both English and Maths.
The number achieving 5A*-C including English and Maths is again in the high 60’s. These headlines have been built upon record English results in which over 80 per cent gained A*-C grades.
Other notably high performing subjects include Geography, ICT, Spanish, English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics, Citizenship, Media, Additional Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, all of which had between 70-100 per cent of the students gaining A*-C grades
As always there have been some exceptional individual results such as Amanda Suzuki, Annabel Dimmock, Georgia Bartlett, Sachin Patel, Giorgio Ragozzino, Khalid Alaghbar ,Elizbah Hidayat, Daniella Lima and Rachel Pears who all gained in excess of 8A/A*s.
Miss Price parent of Harrison Price spoke of the results: “My son joined Hazeley near the bottom of the national curriculum levels, he leaves today with the qualifications that he needs to become an engineer, I am so proud of him and grateful to the academy”.

“They deserve to feel exceptionally proud of their progress, especially those who achieved some brilliant results within the A*-C boundaries but also to those individual successes where students dramatically improved their outcomes, despite entering the Academy with some challenging KS2 results.
“Their diligence and determination has paid off and consequently many students will enter their next academic journey with increased confidence”

benefiting from the perfect balance of experience and enthusiasm offered by the 6th Form team.2015-16 promises to be a vintage year at Hazeley.”
