Appeal for witnesses as man is killed crossing road

A MAN has died from injuries he suffered after a collision with a car on a busy city road.

The 30-year-old man, who lived in the Bletchley area, was crossing the busy V4 Watling Street, close to the Asda store in Granby.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the accident or know anything about the man to get in touch with them as soon as possible.

The victim, who is still yet to be formally identified, was crossing the road near Granby when he was involved in the collision with a Ford KA.

An ambulance was called immediately and the man was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital. He later died from the injuries he had suffered.

The driver of the Ford KA was uninjured in the collision.
