Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes.
The incident took place on Monday, February 27 at about 9am near to the entrance of Robins Hill, Coffee Hall.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was walking along a pathway when he was approached from behind by a man who demanded that he get onto his knees and remove his glasses and coat.
The man was then disturbed by a male passer-by who stopped and assisted the victim.
The offender is a black man with a heavy African accent, and is about 6ft tall.
He had a closely shaved head, is aged in his late teens to mid-20s and was wearing a dark blue jacket and black footwear.
“The victim was not harmed during this incident, but found it extremely distressing and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has any information which they think could help our investigation, to call us,” said investigating officer Sarah Varney.
“I am also keen to trace the man who stopped and assisted the victim, as he could have vital information which could help the investigation.
