People are being challenged to take on an exhilarating Zip slide in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
The charity is looking for people to take up the challenge of launching from a purpose made hatch 75ft in the air and zipping 400feet to raise funds for the fight against muscle disease.
Taking place on Sunday, September 25, participants are asked to pay £25 registration fee and to raise at least £125 in sponsorship for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign’s vital work with each participant getting a branded t-shirt to wear on the day and a certificate of thanks after the event.
Volunteer Fundraising Manager for the charity, Laura Watts said: “I am urging local people to enter this event and raise sponsorship to help us in our fight against muscle disease.
“It’s a great way to use your muscles to help others who have difficulty in using theirs. All the necessary equipment and training is provided on the day by our expert instructors, so beginners are very welcome. Please contact us now if you would like to take part.”
If you are up to the challenge and want to get involved for the charity please contact Laura Watts, Volunteer Fundraising Manager for an entry form on 0207 803 4821. You can also e-mail Laura on firstname.lastname@example.org.
