Art in the Park is ready to cook up a storm in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes is to see its very own Bake Off this summer, with participants showing their talents at Art in the Park, being hosted on Saturday, July 9.

Homemade cakes will be decorated live in front of audiences with five teams taking part in all, three of whom will be made up of representatives from disability charities McIntyre MK, SNAP MK and Camphill Communities.

The day will also feature sessions for curry lovers and explore techniques on how to make tasty tapas.

On Sunday, July 10, celebrity chef Murray Chapman from First Contact Chefs will be running a student competition with catering students from MK College amongst those ready to cook up a tasty dish.

Up to seven student chefs will be cooking live on the main stage including being put through their paces in the omelette challenge!
