After a ‘horrendous’ year, the couple and their two-year-old daughter Lexie, gathered family and friends to release balloons from the Holy Trinity Church in Old Wolverton for Max’s birthday.
Natalia added: “We wanted to try and turn this date into a happy one.”
The purpose of the event was to share Max’s legacy #doitformax and raise money for CMV Action.

Almost two days after the balloons were released, Natalia received an e-mail from a woman in Holland, telling her a #doitoformax ballon had reached her.
Natalia said: “To our absolute amazement we were contacted by someone in the Netherlands who recieved a balloon and our message.
“Considering they were released from Old Wolverton I only expected them to reach maybe Newport Pagnell.”
In total the balloon released raised just over £200 for charity.
