Bat-ty event raises hundreds of pounds for Sports Relief

The Milton Keynes office of accountancy firm Mazars has raised £700 for Sports Relief.

Staff have a long history of contributing to the biennial event, and this year decided a table tennis competition was the perfect way to swell funds for the charity.

And it proved so popular that neighbours in The Pinnacle Building, law firm Dentons and Catapult Transport Systems got involved in the morning mixed and men’s doubles!

“It was great fun and all in a good cause. We felt it was important to do our bit,” said Mazars’ Tara Wooton, one of the event organisers.

Mazars’ audit team of Andy Border and Neel Jobanputra were champions in the men’s doubles, while Catapult beat Dentons in the mixed.

A dress down day was also held by the office to raise more funds and add a little colour to the event.
