Meet Miss Buckinghamshire 2015 when she opens a new, state of the art, boutique spa at the weekend.
Rachel Pitman, 21,a finalist beauty queen for Miss England, is to open the Grafton Spa and Wellness in the grounds of Wakefield Lodge Estate, Potterspury on Saturday, June 13.
Rachel will cut the ribbon at 10.30am and then be available for “selfies with a beauty queen” for a £1 donation towards the spa’s chosen charity The Eve Appeal, working towards a breakthrough test for breast, ovarian, cervical and womb cancer.
Spa owner Georgina Pearse owner of Grafton Spa & Wellness, said, “We were delighted to sponsor Rachel as she picked up the crown at Miss Buckinghamshire 2015 last month.
“We are delighted that the Miss England contestant will officially open this fabulous new day spa.”
The spa will open its doors to the public on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, between 10am and 4pm. The weekend long launch party will provide visitors with a tour of the facilities whilst guests will be offered a free glass of bubbly and delicious canapés from Upton Smokery. They will have chance to experience the colour therapy lighting installed in each of the five luxuriously decorated treatment rooms.
The tour highlight is a ten-seater hydrotherapy pool that has been shipped from Canada. Visitors can also experience the aromatherapy steam room and aspen sauna, finishing with a sneak preview of the decadent manicure and pedicure area, separate spray tanning room and hair salon with views of the countryside.
Georgina added: “Anyone attending the weekend will be able to take a selfie with Miss Buckinghamshire, watch spa demonstrations and receive exclusive special offers.
“ There will be a raffle with a chances to win a relaxing spa break for two and a selection of other lovely gifts plus our free prize draw where you can enter to win a free spa day.
“We are all looking forward to a wonderful weekend and the chance to raise money for an amazing charity.”
