The Big Doggie Do returns to Milton Keynes

The Big Doggie Do returns to Willen Lake South later this month.

The canine community will be getting together for the ninth annual family day out where your pooch is most certainly invited.

There will be a number of charity stalls, activities and the popular annual Dog Show, which this year is being sponsored by Milton Keynes Veterinary Group.

There are ten classes for the Dog Show including the most handsome dog, waggiest tail and the most appealing eyes.

“We are so pleased we are able to continue the Big Doggie Do with the support from the local community. Each year it grows and grows with around 1500 people attending,” said Julie Dawes, Events and Recreation Co-ordinator at The Parks Trust.

“This year highlights include a display from HULA of dogs that need a home and Dog Agility performances.

General admission is free, entry to each class in the Dog Show costs £1 per entry and the profit generated from the show will be donated to a chosen charity on the day.

The event will include dog charity displays, refreshments and stalls, kids activities, dog agility shows and exhibitors selling everything your four-legged friend could desire.

Parking is at Willen Lakeside Park, V10 Brickhill Street, parking charges apply.
