As one of the biggest children’s novels gears up to hit the silver screen, children visiting the cinema in Milton Keynes on its opening weekend will receive their very own ‘giant’ ears and will be greeted by ODEON staff dressed as giants.

To celebrate the release this Friday (July 22), guests will also have the opportunity to take a photo inside ODEON’s own dream jars which is featured in the film.

Children will also be given the chance to learn the unique ‘gobblefunk’ language spoken by the big friendly giant himself.

Andy Edge, Commercial Director at ODEON UK & Ireland, said: “We’re bringing the BFG to life with loads of fun treats for our guests which will create unforgettable memories and photos. As one of literature’s most iconic characters, The BFG is part of a huge summer of storytelling here at ODEON – and we’re honouring the friendly hero by hosting our very own giant takeovers this weekend.”
