A house in Bletchley was badly damaged by fire last night.

Firefighters raced to the two-storey semi-detached house on Western Road at 10.09pm on Tuesday.

Nobody was in the house at the time, but both floors of the house were 100 per cent damaged by smoke, with the ground floor 60 per cent damaged by fire.

Two crews from Bletchley and two from Great Holm attended. Firefighters used two jets, one hose reel, four sets of breathing apparatus and a PPV fan and isolated the gas and electricity.

An investigation into the cause of fire is currently ongoing.
